Every summer, during August mainly, the world’s richest gather around Isola di Capri, Amalfi coast, on board their luxury yachts, or floating mansions, and get pampered like A list celebrities. During the day, most drop anchor beneath the Faraglioni, while by night they moor in Capri’s chic marina. The odd day, they explore Ischia. Join them next year …
When it comes to luxury yachting holidays, concierge services for billionaires, most expensive food or the largest superyachts in the world, Island of Capri is one of the most exclusive sailing destinations. If you cant afford to mingle with them, join them in exploring this spectacular coastline on board of your own private yacht. SY MYOSOTIS could be the answer. Permanently based in the region, she is a beautiful 20mt Sailing Yacht launched in 2010. Her navy coloured steel hull is well complemented by teak decks giving you a feeling of being on a much larger and more luxurious yacht.
Her interior is also surprisingly modern, with warm wood and neutral toned fabrics throughout. SY MYOSOTIS can accommodate up to 6 guests in 3 comfortable cabins including a large Master Suite, a VIP Suite and a Twin cabin with bunk beds. All the cabins are on the lower deck and are equipped with private bathroom and air conditioning. The most popular area on this luxury sailing yacht available for private charters in Italy and West Mediterranean is certainly on the upper deck. The salon here offers a covered dinette, two sofas, an extendable table and a cosy TV area that features a 42 LCD screen television.
Finally, the external stern cockpit offers an alternative al-fresco dining area with two large benches and a folding table. The access to the sea is also extremely easy as two comfortable staircases lead to a sea-level retractable swim platform. Her elegant sundeck, equipped with soft sun pads, offers ample space to relax and enjoy the cruise. So why not snorkel and swim with billionaires and Hollywood stars at Faraglioni or taste the finest rabbit meat on Ischia before relaxing in one of the local resorts with mineral-rich thermal waters near Maronti Beach as the A-listers do ? If that’s not appealing, you can also dive to explore Roman town remains at Cartaromana Beach, explore the local medieval Aragonese Castle linked to the mainland of Ischia by a picturesque stone bridge, visit the Sea Museum at Palazzo dell’Orologio or spend all day walking within the Botanical gardens of Giardini La Mortella and in te Pithecusae Archaeological Museum in Villa Arbusto where Nestor’s Cup with Homer’s Illiad inscriptions is kept!
SY MYOSOTISis usually available from around 11,500 Euros per day in low season and from 15,500 Eur per week in high season. Local taxes and VAT are on top and APA Expenses as per MYBA terms can be negotiated, but are usually around 20%. For full pricing and bespoke quotes including long weekend charters with overnight stay, please do get in touch. Negotiated deals, longer term yacht charters or special requests can be discussed too.
