A completely new and highly popular sailing catamaran has arrived in Greece. It is the latest flagship of Lagoon shipyard, the Lagoon 65. With Lagoon 77’s sold out years ahead, the only chance of getting your hands onto a new luxury catamaran from Cata Lagoon is likely to be a charter yacht such as La Gatta or indeed an option to charter or buy the next best thing, the Lagoon 65 indeed. S/Y DAIQUIRI is a SIXTY 5 that turns heads for sure. An extraordinary yacht that follows in the footsteps of famous Lagoon 620 and has similarities with new SIXTY 7 Powercat, she provides huge volume, exceptional design, great looks and amazing spaces fit for high-end relaxing, socialising, sunbathing and indeed sailing.
Her wide transom platforms exude luxury on entrance already, allowing you to start dreaming about floating paradise that you will own for life or for the next fortnight. The platforms make easy entrance to what is a sumptuous cockpit. New to the range is fixed platform-bridge which connects both transoms and allows for easy movement. The walkabout is not restricted even during the times when platform is lowered into the sea to allow for easy access to the water by tender. Back into cockpit, you are surrounded by a luxury table which comfortably sits 8 adults. Aft bench with a pivoting backrest allows the user to face the cockpit or the passing sea views behind. Great addition to the layout with another area for sunbathing.
The stairs to flybridge are just behind the dining table and their wide, safe design leads you to the top deck. A dining table and seating lining the sides surround the nav station usually used as the main spot for navigation. West bar with plancha grill, refrigerator and lots of storage rounds up the space where you are likely to spend a good amount of time enjoying your sailing time around Greek islands and enjoying spectacular views of the ancient sites of the East Mediterranean or to spot the next best hidden anchorage for snorkelling, swimming and water toys adventures on the water.
