In a market used to waiting times of well over two years, Dutch shipyard Heesen managed to deliver a luxury motor yacht to her new owner in a very short period between early February and 2nd of June 2014. The shipyard, which trades for 35 years this year, delivered nearly 170 yachts to their owners to date.
The latest one, the 49.8m Monaco Wolf, a 2014 built luxury motor yacht (as project known as YN 16650) was delivered to her Owners on 2nd of June, after intensive sea trials in the North Sea. This highly spectacular achievement was mainly possible thanks to the efficient team work between the well-established Heesen shipyard working group and the Owner’s team, both of who worked together around the clock to deliver to the Owner and his family a vessel that will exceed their expectations. Owner’s Representative Howard Lowe from Royale Oceanic and Heesen’s representative were exhilarated with this amazing success.
Powered by the latest 16V 4000 M73L MTU superyacht engines, the MONACO WOLF’s well-engineered all-aluminium, semi-displacement hull, produces excellent cruising and maximum speed, while maintaining very low levels of noise and vibrations. The superyachts’ unique superstructure was designed by Frank Laupman of Omega Architects while the modern and very elegant interior was the work of the well known Italian designer Francesco Paszkowski.
Monaco Wolf’s specifications:

Founded by Frans Heesen in 1978 in Oss, the Netherlands, Heesen Yachts was the first Dutch shipyard to employ aluminium alloy for the building of yacht hulls. Since then the yard has become a world leader in the design, engineering and construction of high performance, all-aluminium motor yachts and is increasingly beknown for delivering pedigree yachts at reduced delivery times. In 1992 Heesen Yachts expanded their business to include the construction of traditional displacement, long-range steel-hulled yachts, and today the company can also deliver magnificent private yachts within the 37 to 70 metres size range, and beyond.
The current fleet which is to be found across all world oceans, includes aluminium, steel, displacement, semi-displacement and the new revolutionary fast displacement. Additional twelve yachts are currently under construction and their deliveries span through to 2017.
