A high quality product, she is made with latest high-tech methods and within shortest period possible. You are invited to visit the premises and the shipyad in Xiamen, Fujian Province at a short notice and at any time. With standard 2x900hp Volvo diesel D-13 engines, PUCCINI YACHT 82 FLY is expected to cruise at 16kn and achieve maximum speed of well above 25kn. Upgrades are available, including 2x1000hp Volvo and 2x1200hp Volvo diesel engines, the latter one expecting to propell the yacht easily to cruising speeds of well above 20kn and reaching maximum speeds of well above 30kn.
Optional HYBRID system is also available and in combination with 2x900hp or 2x1000hp engines only. This is done so that two sets of hybrid system controlled by one control panel (one hybrid system consist of one engine connected to one generator), thus in total 2 diesel engines and 2 generators, are added to the set up. Both diesel engines and generators can run separately or simultaneously at the same time. This gives three working solutions to the operator:
- Battery driven:
Change to battery driven to sailing mode, zero emission and zero noise. - Diesel driven:
Change diesel engine driven to sailing mode, use generator to charge the battery - Hybrid driven:
Generator as the “assistor” to assist diesel engines when accelerating offering extra torque.
This means that when HYBRID is applied, your captain would not normally use diesel engines all the time as that invokes lots of fuel consumption. As you can switch to electrical version in full or in part, when you dont need the boat to be fast or if you are low on diesel. On the other side, when the batteries are empty, you can switch back to diesel engines only allowing them to charge batteries for 1-2 hours. This allows you to switch back to Hybrid or electric only once again, and is perfect for both personal use or charter use. This system is complicated to set up and arrange, it will increase the delivery time, yet the savings on fuel will be considerable and resale value of your boat much better. We recommend HYBRID system therefore and even though the cost at 500,000 US$‘s are high, they are likely to be worth the extra expenditure.

All boats can be made to RINA/LLOYDS registry standards and either offshore or lake, rivers classifications. Ever since end of last century, CE certification is required for all recreational boats, at least those entering or being sold in Europe. As such as PUCCINI YACHTS respects this obligation and will manufacture boats with suitable class. In most cases this would be B Class which is a vessel built to navigate the open oceans and in winds above Beaufort 8 force and in the waves of up to 4m. This is because such classifications are categorised depending on the vessels capability to confront navigational conditions, taking into account both force of the wind and the height of the occuring waves. As the security equipment on board can alone can expand the area and distance of navigation, classifying the boat as A Class will usually be done on luxury yachts above 40ft, thus you can expect your boat to be ready for at least B Class category but with an additional option to get Class A. The pricing of these and various standards such as Lloyds or RINA or Germanischer Lloyd and American Bureaus of Shipping, which aremore precise regulations, will be discussed at the time of purchase and commissioning. To save costs though and in case your boat will be used mainly around lakes and rivers, one can aim to classify boats up to C class under circumstances and at least those up to or below 40ft.
